Emotional intelligence is the core of many types of interview and interrogation. Investigators must learn to understand the emotionality of the psychopath if they desire to yield results consistent with success. Investigators who detect cognitive and emotional shifts during an interview and who adapt accordingly facilitate positive outcomes in their interviews.
The more investigators know about behavior and psychology, the better equipped they are to take their already keen interviewing skills and enhance them by learning more about psychopathy and its related concepts. This course is designed for investigators who bring a lot to the table by the way of their own education, training, and experience in interview and interrogation to expand their knowledge by learning field-friendly ways to identify behaviors consistent with psychopathy and ideas for structuring the environment and interview towards facilitating positive results.
Investigators are faced with unique challenges when it comes to interviewing various types of personalities. This course helps build awareness about psychopathy and offers suggestions for potential interview strategy.
